Description
- Duration: 31 hours

Objective
Gain the competency to handle and manage all types of boats and yachts up to 30 GT regardless of the type and purpose of navigation.
Course Content:
- Navigation at Sea (7-day practical course recommended for confidence)
- Basic motor repairs and protective measures
- Seafaring, maritime law, meteorology, and first aid
- Boat maneuvering, navigation safety, and providing first aid (additional 7-day skipper training recommended)
- Maritime radiotelephone service (Restricted Operator’s certificate for GMDSS HR IV/1 recommended for professional use)
- Safety at sea
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age: 18
- Identification card or passport
- 2 passport-sized colored photos (3 cm x 3.5 cm)
- Medical exam issued by Occupational health practice in the Republic of Croatia or a foreign Medical Centre for Occupational Health which is authorized to issue the Certificate in compliance with the requirements of the STCW Convention 1978, as amended and the Maritime Labour Convention 2006, all after a medical examination performed in accordance with the Rules on Establishing Medical Fitness of Crew Members of Maritime Ships, Boats, and Yachts.
