Our Skipper Training is perfect for those who have passed the Boat Leader Category B exam or hold a Boat Skipper Licence Category C, and want to improve their practical skills before advancing to the next level.
Objective: Trainees will refine their boat handling and maneuvering skills, including mooring, docking, anchoring, and essential tips for smooth boating. The focus is on safe cruising and reinforcing theoretical knowledge for confidence.
Course Content:
Depending on skill level or client requests, the training includes:
• Vessel familiarization
• Safety procedures
• Practical review of theoretical knowledge
• Sailing, ship maneuvering, docking, anchoring, and mooring
• Day and night navigation basics
• Collision regulations, lights, shapes, and signals
• Man Overboard (MOB) procedures
• Usage of boat equipment
• Ropes and knots
• Basic sailing theory and practice
• Meteorology and oceanography
• Basic motor repairs and maintenance
• Maritime radio communication service
• Safety at sea
Prerequisites:
• Minimum age: 18
• Identification card or passport
• Boat Leader Category B or C licence
