About Us
Who We Are
Croatiasailing4you is led by a passionate Croatian-Czech couple, Katerina and Korado Gobo. Their combined expertise and love for the sea ensure that your adventure with us is nothing short of exceptional. We work closely with personally selected top-tier skippers to guarantee a fantastic holiday experience.
Our partnerships with yacht charters and owners allow us to offer an extensive selection of boats. You can choose to book a yacht yourself with our guidance, or let us handle all the arrangements. We also collaborate with Maritime Center Mare to provide top-notch courses for gaining sailing licenses
Korado Gobo
Korado is a professional skipper and instructor with an impressive background. He holds the Croatian Certificate of Competency for Yacht Master Category B (Yacht up to 500 GT) issued by the Croatian Ministry of The Sea, Transport, and Infrastructure. Additionally, he possesses the RYA/MCA Yacht Master Offshore Certificate of Competence with a commercial endorsement for a sailing vessel with an Auxiliary Engine, issued by The Royal Yachting Association/Maritime and Coastguard Agency (United Kingdom).
Korados passion for sailing began in childhood, starting with the Optimist class at age 8, followed by Europe and Laser classes. He has participated in numerous regattas, including the famous Barcolana and La Veleziana, as well as the Croatian ORC Championship regattas and the ORC World Championship in Cres, Croatia. He was also the long-time president of Sailing Club Kvarner Rabac and skipper of the club’s racing boat Alba 2.
In addition to his regatta experience, Korado has experience owning and running a windsurfing school, where he trained numerous students in the art of windsurfing. He spent 20 years as a professional fisherman on Adriatic sea.
Since 2012, Korado has been working as a professional skipper on sailing boats and catamarans. He is now an instructor for Croatian-certified licenses at Maritime Center Mare (Rijeka) and conducts practical skipper training, passing on his expertise to new generations of sailors.
Katerina Gobo
Katerina, a Czech lawyer and manager, will plan your sailing holidays with all your preferences in mind, organize tours, and while being a crew member, she can also serve as your skipper with a Croatian Skipper C license. Her main roles include acting as a tour guide during the sailing holiday (since having long time experience as a tour guide in Croatia) and preparing the organization of our offers and services. Additionally, Katerina can teach you how to cook local cuisine, adding an extra layer of enjoyment to your sailing adventure.
