Boat SKIPPER licence category B
Objective:
After successful completion of the course and after successful passing of the examination by the Harbourmasters’ Office the trainees will be competent to operate up to 12 Nm from coast and islands in Adriatic sea:
- passenger boats up to 3 Nm from the coast and islands
- cargo and fishing boats
- all type of pleasure boats
- pleasure Yachts up to 30 GT
- charter Yachts up to 30 GT without professional crew
Course content:
- Maritime navigation (navigation)
- Motoring and protective measures
- Maritime law and meteorology
- Maneuvering the boat, safety of navigation and providing first aid, however, we recommend our 7-day skipper additional training for the Boat Skipper Category B.
- Maritime radiotelephone service, however, for more professional use we recommend attending Restricted Operator's certificate for the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System HR IV/1 held by our certified partners.
Prerequisite:
- At least 16 years of age
- Identification card or passport
Driver's license if the candidate has one- 2 passport size coloured photographs 3cm x 3,5 cm

Note to client: Upon successful completion of the course and after successful passing of the examination by the Harbourmasters’ Office candidates will receive a Boat Leader’s License Category B issued by the Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Croatia.
