Boat SKIPPER licence category C
Objective: After successful completion of the course and after successful passing of the examination by the Harbourmasters’ Office the trainees will be competent to handle and manage:
- All types of boats and yachts up to 30 GT regardless of the type and purpose of navigation
Course content:
- Navigation at Sea, however, we recommend our 7-day practical course to gain confidence for future navigations.
- Basic knowledge of motor repairs and protective measures
- Seafaring, maritime law, meteorology, and first aid
- Maneuvering the boat, safety of navigation and providing first aid, however, we recommend our 7-day skipper additional training for the Boat Skipper Category C.
- Maritime radiotelephone service, however, for more professional use we recommend attending Restricted Operator's certificate for the Global Maritime Distress and Safety System HR IV/1 held by our certified partners.

Prerequisite:
- At least 18 years of age
- An identification card or passport
- 2 passport size coloured photographs 3cm x 3,5 cm
- Medical exam issued by Occupational health practice in the Republic of Croatia or a foreign Medical Centre for Occupational Health which is authorized to issue the Certificate in compliance with the requirements of the STCW Convention 1978. as amended and the Maritime Labour Convention 2006, all after a medical examination performed in accordance with the Rules on Establishing Medical Fitness of Crew Members of Maritime Ships, Boats, and Yachts.
Price:
The price for foreign citizens is 935 EUR, which includes a 31-hour course held in English language
and an exam in the Harbour Master Office. The price for Croatian and Slovenian citizens is 472 EUR, which includes a 31-hour course held in Croatian language and an exam at the Harbour Master Office. A medical examination is required and should be in accordance with the requirements of the SCTW, i.e. a medical examination certificate of the MLC type is required. The examination costs 117 EUR out of the full price. The cost of a medical examination in Croatia is around 100 EUR.
